So which way is the right way to breathe?

Breath in Practice is a practical Oxygen Advantage workshop designed to make sense of the different breathing approaches used across movement disciplines.

Rather than teaching one technique for everything, you’ll explore why breathing changes with the activity, intensity and desired outcome — and how to make more informed choices about the way you breathe.

Through guided practice and comparison, you’ll explore:

• How breathing differs across yoga, Pilates, running and other movement practices
• Why different activities place different demands on the breath
• The relationship between breathing, movement, stability and performance
• Where functional breathing principles fit across different disciplines
• Practical breathing techniques and when to use them
• How to choose a breathing approach based on what you’re actually asking your body to do

Whether you practise yoga or Pilates, run, train, teach movement or simply want to understand the breath beyond a single method, this workshop gives you a more practical framework for when, why and how to breathe.
